MeisterHoff & Associates provides accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, and executive business advisory services. We are not a licensed CPA firm, so we do not perform Attest services — audits, reviews, or compilations of financial statements.
We do help clients answer audits and examinations from state agencies and insurance carriers — including the Washington State Department of Revenue (DOR), the Employment Security Department (ESD), the Department of Labor & Industries (LNI), and workers' compensation and other insurance premium audits. On those, we work on the client's side: we pull the records together, prepare what the auditor asks for, and respond to the agency or carrier for you as authorized.
Under our active PTIN, we can prepare and sign federal and state tax returns for businesses and individuals, within the scope appropriate to our credentials. We cannot represent clients before the IRS in an audit, a collection matter, or an appeal; for that we will refer you to a CPA and work alongside them.
